Shipping and Delivery Policy for SPL Auction

At SPL Auction, we strive to provide an excellent shopping experience. As a platform that connects buyers and auction organizers, we facilitate the process of purchasing items through online auctions. However, please note that SPL Auction does not handle the shipping or delivery of items directly. The shipping and delivery process is managed by the auction organizers.

This Shipping and Delivery Policy outlines the general procedures for shipping and delivery of items auctioned through SPL Auction. By participating in an auction, you agree to comply with the following terms.

1. Shipping Responsibility

  • Organizer’s Role: The auction organizers are responsible for shipping and delivering items to winning bidders. Each organizer sets their own shipping methods, rates, and policies. SPL Auction is not responsible for the fulfillment of orders, the condition of items upon delivery, or any shipping-related issues.

  • Shipping Terms: Shipping details, including delivery times, shipping methods, and costs, will be provided by the auction organizer on the individual auction page. The buyer and organizer should agree on the shipping arrangements before the transaction is completed.

2. Shipping Methods

  • Shipping Options: The auction organizer will specify the shipping methods available for each item. Shipping methods may include standard, expedited, or international shipping, depending on the nature of the item and the shipping policies set by the organizer.

  • Shipping Costs: Shipping fees will be calculated based on the auction organizer’s shipping policy. These fees will be added to the total cost of the winning bid at the time of purchase. The shipping costs depend on factors such as the destination, item size/weight, and the selected shipping method.

  • International Shipping: If international shipping is available, the auction organizer will provide information about shipping rates, customs duties, taxes, and any additional fees associated with delivering the item to an international destination. You, as the buyer, are responsible for any additional costs incurred during international shipping, including customs fees.

3. Delivery Times

  • Estimated Delivery Times: Each auction organizer will specify an estimated delivery time frame for the items won in their auctions. The delivery time may vary depending on factors such as shipping method, item availability, and location.

  • Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, SPL Auction and the auction organizers are not responsible for delays caused by external factors such as shipping carrier delays, weather, or other unforeseen events. Any delivery delays must be addressed directly with the auction organizer or the shipping carrier.

4. Order Tracking

  • Tracking Information: Once the auction organizer ships an item, they may provide tracking information to the buyer. You will receive this information from the organizer via email or through the auction platform, depending on the organizer’s policies.

  • Tracking Issues: If you experience issues with tracking information, such as a delay or lack of updates, you should contact the auction organizer or the shipping carrier directly. SPL Auction does not have access to or control over shipping tracking systems.

5. Shipping Address

  • Accuracy of Shipping Information: You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address at the time of checkout. SPL Auction is not responsible for delivery failures or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete address information provided by you.

  • Address Changes: If you need to change your shipping address after placing an order, please contact the auction organizer as soon as possible. Organizers may or may not be able to accommodate address changes after the auction has concluded.

6. Damaged or Lost Items

  • Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged, you should contact the auction organizer immediately and provide proof of the damage (e.g., photos of the damaged item and packaging). The organizer will review the case and may offer a refund or replacement based on their return policy.

  • Lost Shipments: If an item is lost during shipping, you must contact the auction organizer and the shipping carrier to file a claim. SPL Auction is not responsible for items lost in transit, as the organizer handles the shipment directly.

7. Returns and Exchanges

  • Return and Exchange Policies: Each auction organizer will have their own return and exchange policies, which may vary by item and organizer. You should review the organizer’s specific return/exchange terms before placing a bid. Returns are generally not accepted unless the item is damaged, defective, or misrepresented.

  • Return Shipping Costs: If the organizer accepts a return, you may be responsible for return shipping costs. The return process should be managed by the auction organizer, and SPL Auction is not responsible for any issues related to returns.

8. Shipping Issues and Disputes

  • Disputes with Shipping or Delivery: If you encounter any issues or disputes related to shipping or delivery, including delays, damages, or missing items, you should first contact the auction organizer. If you are unable to resolve the issue with the organizer, you may contact SPL Auction’s customer service team for assistance, but we cannot guarantee a resolution of shipping-related disputes.

  • Mediation: In some cases, SPL Auction may offer mediation services between you and the auction organizer, but this is subject to the specific circumstances and the policies of the auction organizer.

9. Changes to Shipping and Delivery Policy

SPL Auction reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping and Delivery Policy at any time. When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted on this page, and the “Effective Date” will be revised. We encourage you to review this policy regularly to stay informed about our shipping practices.
